Our Bistro – Learning Through Real Life
Our school bistro is more than a place to prepare and serve food. It is a small, real-life enterprise run by the children.
They plan, organise, calculate costs, prepare food, communicate with customers, divide responsibilities and work together as a team.
Mathematics becomes budgeting and calculating prices. Language becomes communication and advertising. Practical life becomes responsibility for a real community.
Children experience something powerful: their work matters to other people.
